ASSEDEL Presents Observations to the CoE Commissioner for Human Rights on her Letter to the Chair and Members of the Law Committee of the French Senate

CoE Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms. Dunja MIJATOVIC has sent a letter to the Chair and Members of the Law Committee of the French Senate on December 15, 2020. Ms. Commissioner has urged the senators to make substantial amendments to the General Security Bill to make it more human rights compliant and invited them to remove the ban, imposed by Article 24 of the bill.

Human rights advocacy association ASSEDEL emphasized the priority of personal privacies from a fundamental human rights perspective and presented its views and concerns on the subject to the Commissioner. Click to read the entire letter.
