Submission from ASSEDEL for the Human Rights Council’s Universal Periodic Review for Germany’s 4th cycle to the 44th Session

ASSEDEL has responded the call of UPR 44th session and has submitted a report for Germany. The report consists of two parts. The first part determines international human rights obligations of Germany in light of relevant international humanitarian law. The report emphasizes the problematic issues regarding, a) rights of refugees and asylum seekers, b) gender equality and discrimination, c) the challenges of persons with disabilities in the labor market, d) consumer rights. The second part of the report includes the recommendations to the German Government.
