At the request of the Committee on the Rights of persons who are migrants, ASSEDEL has carried out a comparative study of the Recommendation of the Conference of INGOs of the CoE and that of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the CoE.
This work refers to two texts, the first, the Recommendation for a global approach to the rights of refugees and migrants and the role of civil society of the Conference of INGOs of the Council of Europe, adopted by the General Assembly on 26 April 2023. The second is Recommendation 481 of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe on the Reception of Refugee Women and Children in European Cities and Regions of 2022, which is based on Report CG (2022)43-14prov of the same name, of 20 September 2022.
