ASSEDEL submits its report on children’s rights to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child

ASSEDEL responds to the call of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child for comments on the draft general comment on children’s rights and the environment with a special focus on climate change.

ASSEDEL’s submission emphasizes three crucial issues: a) The education rights of minor children of immigrant families, b) Child abuse and forced child marriage, and c) the unfortunate state of dependent children who grow up in prison with their mothers.
