ASSEDEL Communicates to Venice Commission of the Council of Europe

The letter emphasizes that Law No. 7262 Preventing Financing of Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction is yet another weapon in the Turkish Government’s dedicated arsenal against advocates of human rights and rule of law. The Law provides the Government with enough pretext to silence dissent and move further away from universal principles of human rights and democratic values.
