The session offered invaluable insights into the holistic framework of the &#8220;4 Ps&#8221;\u2014Prevention, Protection, Prosecution, and Integrated Policies\u2014essential for combating violence against women and domestic violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marie-Claude Hofner elaborated on the core principles of the Istanbul Convention, emphasizing its role as a comprehensive tool to address gender-based violence. We gained a deep understanding of how the monitoring process is conducted, from the submission of state reports to GREVIO&#8217;s evaluations and recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ASSEDEL has also recently started contributing to the Istanbul Convention by preparing reports to support GREVIO\u2019s monitoring process. This session provided valuable insights to improve these contributions and align them with the Convention\u2019s goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This training underscored ASSEDEL&#8217;s commitment to advancing gender equality and combating violence against women.
