Just as we buried terrorists in Mount Judi, in Gabar, in Mount Tendurek, and entered their \u201cdens\u201d, we will continue to do so in the same way from now on. There is no such thing as LGBT. Ces phrases, qui contiennent des mots criminels selon le code p\u00e9nal turc1<\/sup>, belong to the president of Turkey, who is the guarantee of the constitution. Let\u2019s move on to the analysis of this discourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. According to the statement of Minister of Internal Affairs, Suleyman Soylu, 101 out of 180 of the students arrested are not affiliated with Bogazici University. So almost half of the arrested students are actually from Bogazici University. On the other hand, you don\u2019t need to be a student of Bogazici University, you don\u2019t even need to be a student to protest a politically appointed rector to Bogazici University.<\/li>
  2. Rector\u2019s room was not invaded, students who became \u201cso wild\u201d could try to attack Melih Bulu when he tried to talk to them. It was not necessary to invade his room because Melih Bulu has already communicated with the students one-on-one for most of the time.<\/li>

Even according to Erdo\u011fan\u2019s 2002 version, the rights of LGBT+ should be guaranteed. So why is LGBT+ being attacked during the Bogazici University Protests?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    R\u00e9ponse rapide : C\u2019est parce qu'il n'y avait pas d'autre moyen. Erdogan\u2019s government got stuck in the corner in economy, in social approval and of course in predicted elections.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    C'est le 2 janvier 2021 que Melih Bulu a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 par Erdo\u011fan recteur de l'Universit\u00e9 Bogazici. Dans le sondage \u00e9lectoral r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par GENAR le 25 novembre 2020, pr\u00e8s de 600 personnes sur 3000 n'ont pas pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 leur pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence. En d'autres termes, il y a un taux d'\u00e9lecteurs flottants d'environ 20 % selon l'enqu\u00eate. Selon le sondage r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Eurasia le 24 septembre 2020, le taux d'\u00e9lecteurs flottants est de 14%. Selon l'enqu\u00eate de Metropoll, le groupe le plus important apr\u00e8s l'AKP et le CHP est celui des \u00e9lecteurs flottants5.5<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    75 percent of voters in the first vote of the 2018 Turkish General Elections did not vote for People\u2019s Alliance (Cumhur Ittifaki)<\/em>. D'autre part, selon une \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en 2018, 71 % des \u00e9lecteurs qui ont vot\u00e9 pour l'AKP avaient plus de 32 ans. En d'autres termes, en 2018, l'AKP a re\u00e7u environ 3\/4 de voix de la part des citoyens n\u00e9s avant 1986.8<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    En 2020, la proportion de m\u00e9nages pauvres en Turquie a augment\u00e9, passant de 10,4% \u00e0 14,4%9.9<\/sup>Selon DISK-AR10 \u00a010<\/sup> 2,2 millions de salari\u00e9s ont perdu leur emploi11.11<\/sup>D'apr\u00e8s les graphiques ci-dessous, l'\u00e9conomie turque est entr\u00e9e dans une voie irr\u00e9versible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    L'agitation sociale suffit \u00e0 provoquer une explosion en Turquie, \u00e0 l'image des pays qui se trouvent sur une ligne dangereuse. Bien que difficile \u00e0 pr\u00e9voir, les indicateurs \u00e9conomiques et d\u00e9mographiques confirment cela. Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 l'objet de protestations pendant la pand\u00e9mie, d'abord par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de droit,13<\/sup>\u00a0puis par les commer\u00e7ants14,14<\/sup>et enfin par les mineurs15,15<\/sup>\u00a0le gouvernement a nomm\u00e9 un recteur \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Bogazici et a tent\u00e9, consciemment ou non, de fa\u00e7onner la journ\u00e9e autour de l'opposition des LGBT+. Cette d\u00e9marche \u00e9tait \u00e0 l'avantage du gouvernement sur plusieurs points. Tout d'abord, la communaut\u00e9 LGBT+ ne dispose d'aucune garantie sp\u00e9cifique en termes juridiques en Turquie. C'est ainsi que le ministre des affaires int\u00e9rieures, S\u00fcleyman Soylu a pu accuser les membres LGBT+ d'h\u00e9r\u00e9sie16.\u00a016<\/sup>.\u00a0 Secondly, the structure of Turkish society tends to react too strongly to LGBT+17<\/sup>. Finally,\u00a0 LGBT+ was tried to be worn out already. By fake news, that shows whistling while calling to pray at the Istanbul Pride18<\/sup>, or with alleged disrespect to the Kaaba during protests,\u00a0 reputation was already decreased by government. So Erdo\u011fan and his team have a strong card which allows use religious discourse and which will be able to turn back the floating voters again. So they are again intending to marginalize an already marginalized group even more. In other saying,\u00a0 making LGBT+ enemy is very profitable for the government, because the government can use religious rhetoric, and the answer comes by completely rejecting religious discourse, thereby consolidating the conservative groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Une perspective diff\u00e9rente<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    The government\u2019s religious rhetoric paradoxically works for LGBT+ in long term. Visibility of these activist, of LGBT+ groups is %100 now in Turkey. Considering that Prides, Women\u2019s Day Meetings, and even all meetings are made for visibility, Erdo\u011fan\u2019s mention of LGBT+ has made their visibility in the society 100 percent. A marginal group of people slowly finds its place in society, slowly becomes normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On ne sait pas ce que le cours du temps et ce qu'un monde plus int\u00e9gr\u00e9 nous apportera, mais il est certain qu'il apportera un monde o\u00f9 les groupes LGBT+ seront plus visibles et familiers. Les donn\u00e9es statistiques dans le monde montrent cela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On ne sait pas si c'est le cours du monde ou la politique d'exclusion des gouvernements qui en est la cause, mais les mentalit\u00e9s changent progressivement. Il est impossible de rester neutre face \u00e0 cette \u00e9volution, nous le verrons \u00e0 l'avenir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
