Educational Sessions on Migration and Human Rights at Jean Rostand High School

ASSEDEL is pleased to share its recent presentations at the Jean Rostand High School in Strasbourg.

For its interventions, ASSEDEL chose to discuss the following topic with the students: the Council of Europe and migration. After presenting our association and distinguishing the Council of Europe from the other two councils of the European Union, we defined what a migrant is, explored how their rights are protected within the Council of Europe, and then presented a case study. The presentation concluded with a small quiz and gifts for the winners.

This was followed by a Q&A session where students had the opportunity to ask questions about how our organization operates, as well as questions about their future paths (for example, how to work in an NGO? How to engage in civic service?).
